13SICK App

This project was carried out whilst employed by Orange Digital. My role consisted primarily, but not limited to:

• Being the main point of contact for all things mobile app development (iOS and Android)
• Rewriting the existing 13SICK app (made with Xamarin) to React Native
• Releasing new features to the existing back-end infrastructure supporting the 13SICK App
• Migrating the existing back-end infrastructure to newer versions of ASP.NET with the ultimate goal of increasing performance during periods of peak usage

Main achievements:

• App ratings quickly rose and remained at 4.7 after the initial React Native rewrite launch
• 99.9% bug free across both iOS and Android
• User count went from ~80k on Q3 of 2018 to ~220K on Q4 of 2019
